Malaysian conglomerate (Corporate Restructuring, 2007)
This assignment was focused on the various diverse business divisions of this conglomerate. BinaFikir was tasked to conduct a financial and strategic review of these business divisions and develop an optimal functional structure that would best harness their combined competencies and assets and maximize returns to shareholders.
To quantify the effects of this structure, we developed a bespoke financial model. This model served as a tool to facilitate strategic decision making of the reorganized business divisions in its new future direction and to reposition the company for re-entry into the capital markets.
BinaFikir also assisted the conglomerate in the preliminary implementation of the reorganization, through the development of a comprehensive implementation and communications plan.
