MDeC (Policy and Strategy, 2005)
MDeC is a corporation which is wholly owned by the Malaysian Government, to promote and develop the ICT and multimedia sector of Malaysia, and spearhead Malaysia’s Multimedia Super Corridor (or MSC) initiatives to ensure Malaysia’s leadership in the Information Age.
We conducted a strategic review of MDeC's business model resulting in a complete business and funding model revamp. The strategy review involved an in-depth review of stakeholder objectives, comparative analysis against similar Information Communications Technology (ICT) development organisations, review of industry landscape and future technology trends, and an internal business review to identify MDeC's strength and weaknesses.
We also assisted in clarifying the client's role within the overall framework of national ICT development.
