A Malaysian Port Operator [Sdn. Bhd.] (Corporate Finance Advisory, 2006)

We assisted our client in assessing the financial feasibility of a mass transportation project (size >US$1Bn) which included an integration of rail, road and tunnel transportation.

The aforementioned transport infrastructure is highly required as the existing transport infrastructure has reached capacity limitations. Its existence would be highly catalytic for the economic development of the surrounding areas and is pivotal for the development of Malaysia as a whole.

We built a detailed, robust and highly integrated model to simulate the financial needs and conditions of the project. The model was also used to simulate possible risk scenarios of the project and to analyse the ability of the proposed funding structure to withstand such variability. Included in some of our proposed funding structures are efficient and balanced PFI funding structures.

We have also been assisting our client for their strategic positioning of the project with relevant government authorities and agencies.
